PHOTOGRAPHY :: I have been taking photos for half of my life. I use both digital and analogue film. I spend a lot of time documenting urban and rural farms, food-focused people, plants and permaculture.
I have photographed in a variety of settings from film sets to weddings. I have taken photography courses from Dawson College to Emily Carr and have thrived over the years working one-on-one with a handful of photography mentors. I began Studio304 (http://www.studio304.ca) in 2007, a commercial photography studio in Downtown, Vancouver which is currently run by an incredible team of photographers.

ABOUT :: Born in Toronto and raised on Coast Salish territory (Vancouver, BC) I have a Bachelor of Communication Studies and Liberal Arts from Concordia University (Montreal, Québec). Along with taking photos, I have been working for the past dozen years coordinating and producing arts, youth and social change events and programs.
FARMING :: I began working on farms in 2005 and in 2008 completed the Linnaea Ecological Garden Programme (Cortes Island, BC). The program teaches a broad spectrum of organic farming methods and permaculture design.
PERMACULTURE EDUCATION :: In 2010, I participated in a Permaculture Teacher Training at Seattle Tilth and began teaching in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside in 2011. http://www.farmlove.org/education/
FACILITATION :: I am a trained arts-based facilitator. I work with collaborative games and creative facilitation activities to guide large groups in the connecting, visioning and doing process. I believe in the capacity of arts-based facilitation and permaculture education to create vibrant spaces of community and ecological renewal!
